Alytus Corporation was originally founded in 2007 by O&G engineers and scientists to address corrosion in steel tubes in an economic & eco-friendly manner. An innovative solution (PACT, a patented technology) was developed. Successfully tested by world class labs.
Other applications being tested, including plasma coatings as protection for hydrogen embrittlement in steel tubes. HYBAR application is expected to allow for transport and storage of 100%-concentrated hydrogen via steel carbon pipes and tubes.

IONAR S.A. was founded in 1990 as a technology-based company and consequently its development has always been linked to the most up-to-date science and technology. The historical aspects of the project are described in a book published by the National Academy of Exact Physical and Natural Sciences.
